Hey everyone,
My husband is 39 yo with CF, recently lost his dr. in Tampa, FL, wondering if anyone out there has has the same problem recently and if anyone could suggest or refer a good Adult CF doctor in Florida. We live in SW Florida but don't mind the travel if the Doctor is a good one. God Bless all...............

Have you checked the CF Foundation website. That's where most of us find our dr's. You click on your state and they will tell you all the center's in your state. Hope this helps. Eva

My husband's dr., Veena Antony, left IU in Indianapolis for a position in Gainseville. Don't know if that's close enough for you, but she is excellent and we miss her. Good luck.

Hi,
Gainesville is 5 hours away but we are going to see Dr Antony on Monday for the first time. We are excited and have heard a lot of good things about her. May I ask your husband's age? and what complications he has with CF?

My husband, Tim, is 39 yo he has CF and CFRD, we struggle on a daily basis to try and deal with the CFRD, and the gastro problems. Tim hasn't had to have a lung transplant thus far and he is rarely in the hospital. We do IV;s about once a year sometimes twice dep. on the circumstances. It is hard to find doctors in thia area that are willing to see adults with CF, that's why we are traveling 5 hrs to see Dr. Antony. I hope she sticks around for awhile. Thanks for your replyl
