I am glad that the CF docs are finally coming to see you. I think it's very strange that the docs in the hospital have not contacted them and had them come speak to you sooner. Our son was diagnosed at 2 days old and that same day the CF dr came up to the NICU and spoke with us and answered any questions we had. They were VERY involved in his care while he was in the hospital. They came about every other day and reviewed his chart, examined him, and spoke with us.

Shawn, Sounds like you are in good hands and with the CF Center you'll be right where you need to be!!! When my daughter was released from the hospital, I remember the first few days were the most difficult - getting used to the equipment, administering meds without a nurse, all those scary things. Now we're pro's. I just want to pass on the comfort from a mom who knows, that it all gets easier! Best to you!
