Emily insists on showing me the spit cup whenever she produces something noteworthy. I figure if she has to go through spitting it, I can deal with looking at it. She got rather compulsive about showing it to me when she started coughing up bloody ick one day when she was sick, freaked and tried to frantically wash it down the drain, and then saw ME freak (it was the first time such a thing happened and I wanted to SEE it) ...and so ever since, the cup gets shoved in my face whether she's healthy or not. Fun.
