One time they yelled "IT HAS A MOTOR" when they saw my Pari Ultra II on the xray. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

LOL! Maybe you could've asked if they can identify the part number and specifications for the motor?!

I think if you look on the web site of the airlines, they will describe the specified quantities of everything allowed..I do hope they give mention that the prescription drugs and such are what everyone is describing here. Then security shouldn't be able to do anything about you following the airline's policies.

On a side note, if I'm able to make it this year for a visit to the family, I may have to bring my "breathing apparatus" with me, unless I can get one to borrow in the states because of the voltage differences, but I still have to take my meds, which don't have to be refrigerated, thank goodness!

We take it in a cool bag, meds are exempt. Security did however tell me to remove the bottle of water that I had frozen ( it was clearly ice) to keep the cool bag cooler. They said that I could fill a small bag with ice on the other side of security.
We had a doctors letter telling all, not one person was interested in it, they took the need for medicines at face value, which was good, a sort of human touch from security. lol

i've only flown once before with meds and will fly again at spring break but when i flew they didn't give me any trouble, a few suggestions though (i did a lot of reserch before i went) make sure that when they check your meds the security people put on a new pair of gloves, they've handled shoes and everthing else with those things, also don't let your meds go though the x-ray machine, some of them will get messed up by the x-rays, the nebulizer and vest aren't a problem though
