Hi,
This may be a stupid question, but I don't want to get held back at security if they don't allow it.

I am traveling abroad to Ireland on Friday evening from Chicago. I am sure it is ok, but just wanted to make sure that glucometers are allowed onboard.

I would think so related to the need for diabetics to check their glucoses during a long flight.

Just checking :)

I've never been stopped because of mine. I usually do take it out and put it in a baggie though with all my other liquid meds so at least they can see they're all health related and don't spend so much time looking at each little thing. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
