Hey everyone! I've seen a lot of websites and people around the internet claiming Albert Einstein as a famous person who had CF. The problem is, I can't find any reason for them to be saying that. Does anyone know where I could find some more evidence or data to support the theory? I think it would be really cool if it were at least a real possibility, for me anyway, because I am a physics major and my girlfriend has Cystic Fibrosis. If anyone knows anything more about it the please share, because all I've been able to find via Google searches are sites that say he had it without any reasons or evidence to back it up.<br><br>Thanks!<br>

Hey everyone! I've seen a lot of websites and people around the internet claiming Albert Einstein as a famous person who had CF. The problem is, I can't find any reason for them to be saying that. I've never heard about Einstein having cf, but Frederic Chopin almost certainly did. There is no dna evidence of it but there is definately enough clues to lead one to believe he had cf. Its really something interesting to research. The Polish have his heart but will not allow dna testing to be done on it to find out for sure if he did or did not have cf. The dr that performed his autopsy said he had never before seen anything like it and essentially described what could be cystic fibrosis.

From what I have found, Yes he was believed to have Cystic Fibrosis, as well as Frederic Chopin.
