My daughter has been hoarse off and on for the past month. She coughed a little so I thought the hoarsness was related to the slight cough. She also complained of swimmers ear. I contacted the clinic and she was prescibed Levaquin. After 6 days on med the cough is almost gone and her ear is fine but the hoarsness remains. She has told me that when she leaves home to do her many daily activities (she's very social) her hoarsness goes away. I am concerned there is something in our home that is causing this. She takes allegra and does sinus rinses but I feel I am missing something. We don't have carpet but there are 2 cats in the house although they have lived here for 10 years. Any ideas?

Is she on TOBI? TOBI does a number on Andrew's voice. It is a very common problem. Good luck figuring it out!
