I did too, I thought the same thing and was going to ask if no one else did, so are you the Frankie from Real World.

Well I just answered my question and all of your answers, I did a search for real world and found the frankie from San Diego Real World and they are not the same unless she changed her last name but the frankie from real world is Frankie Jo Abernathy and she is still with her boyfriend Dave Duly. Here is the link that I found this on. Frankie's Bio from Real World

dont meen to sound rude, but haha im pretty sure it is, cuz if you look at her myspace, it is her..

haha anyways... frankie- not to sound too 'comericial' or w/e... but im a big fan

and please post your tattoos... i've been on here a lot, and msot people know im borderline obsessed with getting one... then two...then three...but im so picky its hard to choose! do you just like tattoos? or do most of yours have meaning?

if this is frankie from the real world...and even if its no.... how are you? i know tv doesnt show a lot of truth, but it seemed like your CF was definitly a part of your life... how are you now? hows you CF been generally in your life? hope everything is awesome, and that you find a doctor you like... i can't wait to actually have to start that when im older... ew... keep us updated

Something else i thought of...a lot of times you can and should call your CF doctor if you get sick or have a fever or something. So you technically can get away with seeing the Madison doc for almost all things. Whenever I am sick I call my CF doctor (whom I also don't like) and he gives me medicine. I never see my "regular" non CF doctor. In fact, mine left and now I don't have one. And the one I did have didn't know anything about CF. Not saying that you don't need one at all but you do have time to get a new doctor if you are currently seeing one in Madison.

How ofter do you see your CF doc?

Ooo and pictures of tatoos please! I always wanted one but considering that everything that I pierce gets infected I figured I would be that one person that gets an infected tatoo. so i live vicariously through others

My Dad preferred the CF clinic at UW over Dr. . Although in his later years due to proximity, he needed to see her. Most of Dad's care was taken care of by his local gp and that was fabulous for him - great guy but he is in Fond du Lac, which won't help you.

I recommend calling Dr. Mitchanis at Advanced Healthcare - she is located at the Good Hope Clinic - not very far from Shorewood. Make an apt to just go chat with her - she has always been very good and not preachy or judgemental in the least.

If you need/want more info, pm me.

Good luck

Hey Frankie -

I am also in the Milwaukee area. My advice to you was going to be to PM Big Bee, but she beat me to it. Good luck with the Dr. search. My interaction with Dr. Biller has been very limited, as my daughter's team is at Children's, but I liked her. I can see how there might be a personality conflict, though. She's a bit "old school" even for my taste.

So, can you recommend a tattoo shop in the Milwaukee area? I want to get my first tattoo this year to celebrate my 36th birthday. It will, in some way, be a cf related design. I'd love to see pics of your ink!
