Hi Shannon,
I feel for you b/c I know you're having a rough time right now, and it's even harder with you husband being gone. I guess I have a couple questions for you - with the hardship you're going through, has you husband tried to come home early? I know there's a way it can be done. What's going on with his back, and how severe is it for him? Is there any chance of extending his service until your children have their surgeries? Obviously staying in the military as long as he can will be a huge help to you when it comes to insurance - we're also a military family and they pay for practically everything with our two kids (both w/cf) I would have as much done - medically for the children before your husband gets out - stock up on all your meds so you can make it through. About being in two places at one time - do you have any family or anyone that can be with you and help you out? Talk to your doctors and explain your situation, maybe they can make the decision about which child needs the surgery first - then maybe they could try and work out a plan for scheduling their surgeries at different times - but before your Tricare expires. Many thoughts and prayers go out to you, I know it's rough, but hang in there.
