Hi Chelsea,

We use the First Years Bottle Sterilizer (<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.learningcurve.com/product/detail/Y1441A2?locale=en_US)
</a>to sterlize our son's neb and mask. We wash it with hot sudsy water right after he uses it and sterlize. We leave in in the sterlizer with the lid on. Then we sterlize again about 1/2 before he is going to use it again the next day. Our CF Dr thought that was just as good as boiling them and it is a heck of a lot easier. The key is that it uses moist heat, which is a much greater tempature.

Mircowave bottle sterilizers, like the Avent Express are also supposed to work well.

We use the Avent Microwave Bottle Sterilizer for her nebs and aerochamber. She is doing a test study for Sick kids with saline solution and we have to use the above "devices" twice a day. I wash in hot soapy water, rinse well and throw them in the microwave, our CF doctor was happy with this procedure. The only problem we have run into is it has somewhat "warped" the aerochamber !!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Nothing that replacing it every couple of months won't cure to have the security that it is safe and clean for her to be using.
