a lot of O2 companies provide travel oxygen concentrators to their clients. They are light weight...FAA approved...then you can have one to use overnight if you need it and you have one that stays with you for every leg of every flight. You are responsible then and don't have to deal with anyone else for your care. They are provided at NO cost. I looked for an O2 company within my network that provided that because I did not want to deal with the airlines on that issue and I did not want to be grounded. You might look into that. Airlines are no fun for just the basics....can't imagine how they would be if you got medical needs in the mix. BTW...if you have an oximete, take it along and see how you do. You may find you don't need O2 at all in flight. I don't need it in flight but need my portable for overnight stays. Hope this helps.
