Ancient Healing Systems

Hey everyone,

I have dropped off the face of the Earth for a reason and just wanted to drop by and let everyone know what I have been up to for the past year. After doing so much research on natural and complimentary therapies for Cfers and putting together the site www.cfnutrition4life.com, I took a hiatus to refocus on my passions for art and healing. As a result, I have met an amazing circle of people and have been preparing in many ways to begin a quest toward understanding how traditional ancient healing systems (sometimes referred to as shamanism) might look at and heal people with CF. I am in the process of writing letters to many authors and traditional healers around the world to find out what this R&D could accomplish.

After reading the book Sastun, My Apprenticeship with a Mayan Healer by Rosita Arvigo a series of things began to happen to encourage me to turn my sights to the South to Belize. Right after I read it one of my new acquaintences reminds me that she just took a group to Belize last year and just so happened to stay with the niece of the same man who Rosita studied under! So out of the blue I read this book and now I have a direct link to this man's niece who studied with him as well. I have access to a guide and another person here in the states that also studied with her and is a nutritionist! All in a matter of a couple weeks!

So, I just want you to all know my passion for opening new ways to look at this disease has not waned. The site is still quite important to me, but I have very little time to update it as frequently as I once did.

So, for all of you who hold hope that a cure exists somewhere on this planet, more than likely in the form of a plant, please hold this effort in your hearts and prayers. I will be studying and hopefully traveling to various places as opportunities and funds become available.

I hold each of you, your families in my heart as I begin this journey.

Much Love,

My nephew is a Shaman! I posted in my blog awhile back his response to a "basic" question regarding diet for us.

It definitely has its benefits for those that are able to try it. Sadly not everyone can venture to those areas or at least not completely......

Good Luck on your venture~
