Anon impersonating me

Okay, ocassioanlly when I am not on my personal computer I post as anon and then sign my id at the bottom. Lately (in 2 threads now) some one has posted anon and then signed my name...one in attacking tekno and one in the "where's Julies Thread" thread. I didn't post in that thread EVER just to be clear. so from now on I will only be posting when I'm able to log in, that kind of stinks for me since that limits me a lot, but I don't see any other option at this point.

So lame anon, whoever you are, you will have to take another id since you are too chicken to use your own. Moron.

Apologies to all who may have been hurt by anything the metally challenged anon posted in my name, i think most people who are regulars know where i stand on most the issues they were twisting up anyway.

That's terrible! I sometimes post anon when at work and don't want to sign on...

Just wondering, I know on some sites with membership requirements, people can be banned even if they change their name because of their IPL (?) the link that comes up, shows the computer link where the message is coming from...

It's a nice perk to have the anon, too bad someone has to be spiteful and ruin it. liza

I was pretty sure that wasn't you littledebbie but it was locked by the time I had a chance to look this AM. That impersontaing thing has happened to me before too.

Did you report it to Bill? He can trace the IP address and give them a talking to.

well sometimes i'm at work and on my break or lunch and I just don't want to be tracked, they track ALL internet activity.

Bill: it was in the now locked "where's Julies thread" thread.
Thank you

Debbie, I don't know if bill sees all these posts but I do know that you can use that report to moderator button and let him know what happened and the report to mod. goes to his email so he'll get that for sure. Just wanted to let you know. Differences aside, I think it's rediculious that people turn to that kind of behavior to perpetuate things. Hope he is able to take care of it for you.

I'm still laughing at my reaction to it though because I kept saying to myself, "has littledebbie gone off the deep end? I know that can't be her posting! what the heck is going on."

They can track you at work whether you're logged in or not..... so you might as well log in if you're going to be on this site at work.

Ok, I think this is a new low. I can't believe that someone would do that.

I understand the basic reason behind allowing anonymous posts but people are really abusing it lately.

Lame Debbie, lame. I know that's really you and not someone impersonating you. All kidding aside, that's lame that someone would go out of their way to make you look bad. Looks like someone has too much time on they're hands.

That is, if the suspect was a member. If not, the person as an anonymous may had continued as an anonymous, but is now an anonomous suspect! (Unsolved Mystery...)
