I am so sorry you and your daughter are going through this. If it makes you feel any better, my son had seizures when he was a baby, but they are 100% under control with a medication. He hasn't had a seizure since being on the med. The EEG is a little freaky (for Mom and Dad) the first time they have it done, but they should be able to tell from the EEG what type of seizures she has and then what med should handle them. And we now only see the Neuro once a year for a quick check-up and new new RX for the med and then once in a great while we have another EEG just to make sure things haven't changed.
