another locked thread

I have to agree with liz and say that there is a time and a place for locked threads. I also think that there is a time and a place when it is appropriate to delete just 1 or 2 out of line comments within a thread. That way the conversation can carry on without some idiots being allowed to flame throw.
I personally don't like that some threads get deleted/removed all together, but that is the moderators call and surely this isn't an easy job for them to do- you can't please everyone. So if they feel it is just to delete it, then I guess, so be it.
If you don't like the way this forum is moderated and you are going to bash the choices of posts being deleted, why are you still here? Have you expressed your opinions to the mods, they may not agree but they will listen. It might be reasonable to do that first before badmouthing a decision of theirs.
