another question about my PICC

thanks. i think i have enough to flush twice a day until monday. hopefully they can deliver more on monday.

i called my home health nurse nd she said as long as i flush each line once a day i should be fine

I was just told today by my home infusion company to flush with saline and heparin once a day..

I do flush more then one saline at a time to really clear the line then I flush 5 mls heparin

I flushed once daily. Unless you have a history of problems that should be sufficient. Once with saline & once with heparin.
