another sex question...may be offensive to some.

OK, I have a sex question. A tad bit embarrassing one at that. Well here goes. I am a CF adult woman and I'm married to a man who does not have CF. We have a good sex life and we are very kinky. Here is my question. I like anal sex and I was wondering since some CF'ers have bowel problems, is this a big 'no no'? I don't have any bowel problems and I was just wondering if I should not do this as often in case I'm making scar tissue or something. I am just wanting to know if I should be taking any precautions for my future. And I'm NOT asking my (male) doctors this question. I'd just die!!!!

Please advise.

And sorry if this was offensive to anyone.

Well it says right in the title that it might be offensive. So you gave plenty of warning.

As for the question at hand, I'm no doctor, but here's my two cents on it. I do have bowel problems, and have indeed tried what you ask about. I wasn't a fan, but the curiosity overwhelmed me, so we tried. We actually tried more than once. Not a whole lot, but I think three. I have actually had surgery in that area before, and I frequently get fissures (kind of like a split in chapped lips... only in the area in question instead... painful, not fun). But we tried anyway. And it didn't create new or more problems for me, despite my having had problems there before. The only piece of advice that I could possibly give you? Lots of lube. That way, less pain, and far less likely to create any kind of problems for you.

pardon my ignorance but how is anal sex stimulating for a woman? I can imagine so if there is manual stimulation but without?

omigod maybe I am a prude and you did warn it may be offensive but really I just don't like that kind of post. I find it a bit disgusting actually.

This post should be locked. Its totally pathetic and it hurts the reputation of cf people. You want to discuss your sexual perversions find another site.

Well some people are not prude and since this is a married couple, let them do as they please. A question was asked and it says in the title that it could be offensive, so if you are offended by married couple asking a sex question maybe you are the one with the problem. Sex is a totally natural thing and who are you to decide what is perverted or not. Perhaps the original poster is annoyed by you and your ignorant comment. It's not that big of a deal and I'd like to say to them
WAY TO GO FOR BEING OPEN MINDED AND KEEPING YOUR SEX LIFE A PRIORITY!

do you think other CF people don't have sex of any kind. Anal, vaginal, oral? We are allowed to have sex, even really good sex. and it's good for our lungs...all that heavy breathing.

That will wake you up on a Monday. Good post, brings insight as well as good humor. I needed that coffee was not working today.

The poster has a question which took nerve to ask. She was polite enough to warn that it may be offensive. She even apologized if she offended anyone. She trusted us of all people to ask this question to. If you are offended, you should accept the apology and respect her enough not to post on her question. She certainly does not deserve your offhanded and rude comments. If you have nothing positive to add on a post, it's very simple to just back out and ignore it. For heaven's sake, she's not asking about bestiality or child pornography, she's asking about a sexual act between herself and her husband. If it's something you have decided not to try, that's fine for you, but don't judge other people for their own choices.

As for the poster who asked how this could be stimulating for a woman, you'd just have to try it and find out :) It's not something that can be explained.

I am with the original poster, I enjoy this as well, with my husband. I think that as long as he is careful it should not be a problem. I apologize for the rude comments you have received and I commend you for having the nerve to ask a question that you needed an answer to.

This is hysterical. Meaning: great question, why not...how else are you suppose to know. This is a safe place.

I think it's funny how "curiousity kills the cat." People can't help but read, even though.."oh my, they just can't handle it." That's fine, don't read...cat!

Anyway, this was funny. I hope for the original poster it helped. Being human, as people are, you are always..o.k I will give it almost always, people will read it even if they are like not sure. human nature.

Luckily for me, I don't take offense to hardly anything. I am too old, seen and been through to much, and who cares.

oh..I couldn't help you out here, I'm a lesbo from lesbia. oopss..did I say that.

I don't know if it causes bowel problems later on- but I find that it makes me need to go to the bathroom right after. That is probably something my husband doesn't want to know, and it's not very sexy, but it's the truth!! So maybe try it if you are a little plugged up!!

HA! I could see my husband trying to stick it in if I were a little plugged up. He'd probably ask me to remove the cork that was keeping him out as his weiner turned into the letter Z. Bad visual, bad bad visual!

HA HA HA

I understand people's negative reaction. But we were warned. I think for some they maybe find it hard to think outside the box (so to speak).

Anyway, I have wondered this myself and have been to chicken to post the question. Not saying I am going to do it now after reading some posts, but at least I have heard it won't cause a problems.

Think outside the box! Ha!

I've had too many things shoved up the ole wazoo in the hospital. The ole wazoo is off limits. But if I were into that kinda stuff, I can't imagine one more thing up there would cause much harm!

After reading some of the first responses, I just wanted to respond again real quickly. I'm pretty much going to parrot what other people said. There is NOTHING perverse about a sexual act between this woman and her husband, even if, in your childish brains, you think it's *icky.* Original poster, I think you have some serious nerves to ask this question. Because on a board like this we had to know that some people were going to come on and be all narrow-minded and rude. So screw them, and rock on for having the nerve to ask in the first place.

"This post should be locked. Its totally pathetic and it hurts the reputation of cf people. You want to discuss your sexual perversions find another site."
I don't know where you've been raised, but as I said, the sexual acts between a woman and her husband are NOT perverse. Given the CF bowel problems, I think it was totally responsible and smart to ask this question. She was being careful. It doesn't hurt anything about CF people. In fact, I think it gives us a boost, because if anything... People will think, "Wow, CFers really have some nerves of steel to ask such a personal and even potentially embarassing question to all their peers. They must trust their fellow CFers to respond in a mature and understanding fashion." Given my opinions on the subject, I applaud those of us who responded and answered the question, or commented on it without passing judgment or being rude. And the rest of you? It says right in the title it may be offensive. So opening it anyway? You shot yourselves in the foot on that one.

Right on Em!

In my experiance, anal sex does require lube and patience. Cfers are sometimes prone to rectal prolapse so just make sure you take it slow.

To the person who said that this post should be locked: Get a life. Sex is not a perversion. It's totally natural. If you don't like it, or agree with it, or whatever, then click the back button. The last time I checked this was the Adult portion of the forum.

Thanks.
