Its just butt sex (as my husband would say)...no I havent done it so I dont know. I;m just saying I am with the others who say whats so perverse between a husband and wife...are some in the way of thinking that it has to be missionary all the time. Maybe some just dont like the idea of young people reading it...but it says offensive...egh i dunno.

Anyway back to the question. I dont know if it will harm someone with exsisting bowel problems...it is very possible since things are already having problems. I sometimes watch Talking Sex with Sue Johansen on oxygen she even has a website I think you can ask questions. Shes a regisitered nurse and knows alot about anything sex related. I saw one episode where someone asked if anal sex will hurt someone. She said that (like the other poster said) that if its rough you can make lisions in side, rip things and because its in the bowel gets infected. She says use tons and tons of lube, a condom (because the penis can become infected due to fecal matter) and be easy. She says if you follow that go after it and have fun. If you have oxygen watch it she has all sorts of ways to keep things safe and kinky, even toys you can check out and which ones arent worth checking out... and takes calls for all sorts of questions...see if you can find her website.

OK, so no one answered, is this really an "enjoyable" feeling for a woman, cause I'm with the *icky* opinion.
I guess I am sheltered, as I thought only gay men were into this type of thing.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

OK I will answer your question. NO , at first it is not at all enjoyable , but it can be over time. not that i do this often it just seems that it gets easier (lol) actually my husband and i have had real fun and i am the type of person that really wants to please my lover. I think that knowing that i am making him feel good , makes me feel good and having anal sex has brought me to orgasim.

I find it very pleasurable. And yes you do have to be open minded. If you add a 'toy' to this position it can be VERY exciting because you are getting a lot of stimulation to a small area. So it's a very good feeling. And you have to have a sense of humor because you have to be patient. Kind of funny at times.

It still seems *icky*, after all it is the poop shoot we're talking about here! To each his own.
In answer to the original question, I would think there would be some risk of damaging some things down there, possibly long term, since I think that clearly that's not what the "poop shoot" was designed for.

I'm with you anon it is "icky". I did it and didn't like it. I told my boyfriend I hope you didn't like that because it wont happen again. HeeHee. I don't know when the other anonomous said it's not enjoyable at first at all but it can be over time. That's strange to me. So continue to do something that you dont enjoy at all to see if someday youll like it. Naaaa. Ill pass.

The most important sex organ is the brain! I mean, I don't know that the mouth was designed to swallow "protein shakes" or what about the "pee shoot?" Isn't that just as gross? You just have to condition your mind to enjoying it. It's not icky at all.

If you have a problem with this particular posting, just don't read it. It's not here to personally offend you, it's here for those that are curious and have questions about sex and how it relates to CF in general, as well as their personal situation and their CF. I don't have any input to offer because I am not a female with CF, but I have my own opinion about "butt sex" after trying it (or attempting to) once with my husband, but I still benefit from what others write about it. If I thought it were gross, I would just not come back and read anything further. It's not that difficult to do, if you already read it and it offends you, QUIT coming back to read further. It's called self control.

This is not about anal as much as it is about sex in general. My boyfriend has CF and it takes him FOREVER to orgasm. Does anyone else experience this?

I didn't at first, but after a while it takes forever with or without a condom. No joke, not trying to brag, but one time it took 3 hours to achieve our end goal. I was sweating so much and had a huge freaking cramp in my leg. I would say it take me a while now that I'm older.
