I've just recently started taking Buspirone but stopped because my lungs feel very dry, and I've not been able to cough much during treatments.

To anybody whose taken this drug:

a) has this happened to you?

b) if so, did you switch to something else that did not cause your lungs to dry out?

c) if so, what med(s) did you switch to?

I've not taken this drug, but am interested in what answers you may get. I have some serious issues with anxiety and all my clinic has tried for me is Serequol, which knocked me out no matter when I took it. I would love to try something new, but there is so little that is ok for us to take that won't effect our breathing/lungs.

Good luck finding some answers. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Buspirone ....hmmmmm I've never even heard of that one. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

~~ Sonia, I am on Zoloft for panic and anxiety (50 mg.) I've not had any side effects from it, in fact it has made the panic and anxiety almost completely disappear. Maybe that could be an option for you?
