<br />sorry your little one is sick. I am 23 w/ cf and have resistance issues to the point where I was doing month on month off iv's. I am wondering if your son takes hypertonic saline - I know some clinics won't use it little ones but it really might be worth a shot. In an attempt to stay out of hospital I have been nebbing it at high doses - 40 mins 3x daily. Guess what no hospital for 6 months!!! While it isn't strong enough to kill bugs it gets the junk out and provides a less optimal environment for them to grow. It is something I wish I had started long ago! I will point out the first few doses were TOUGH- lots of coughing, wheezing and a scratchy throat but it gets better. I am not sure if this helps at all but it may be worth a shot.
