Hi
I added this onto someone else's blog originally because I didn't know what I was doing. Hope this is more appropriate here
You folks are so smart, I was hoping you had advice.
I am new here and was shocked when my immune Dr. sent me for a sweat test. There were results, but they had to do it twice in one day, and honestly I doubt there was enough from one arm and nothing from the other to test. He then did a common genetics test. It was normal. My question is the opposite here. I appear to have all the symptoms. Bronchiectasis, lung problems, chronic bronchitis, just had gallbladder surgery, and am really having bad GI problems. Should I get the full ambry test? If it shows nothing, should I then feel relieved and not worry? The reason I ask this is that I see the issues I have as found with CFers. I am 54 now. I always had the lung problems and the bronchiectasis appears to have been there from birth said the Dr. Can anyone provide input here? I don't want to appear a worrier, but I get so sick all the time. I am on antibiotics for????due to chronic sinusitis. I don't know what future help there is for me, antibiotics and prednisone aren't helpful now. I believe something should help me, but I really wonder, could I have CF? I have this on the back of my mind because my Dr. did for so long.
Thanks,
NZ
