My tutor at college has said that i can do a presentation to the people on my college course about what c.f is and how it effects people.

The only problem is i was wondering what i should put in the content. So what better place to come than some where, where people suffer from c.f and there are relatives that have people with c.f in there family.

So if anyone has any ideas about what i could put in my presentation i would be ever so greatfull.

thanks look forward to hearing the replys

This is your chance to educate. I am not sure how much time you have so I would cover the basis with the basics especially the fact that ANY of them listening could be carriers. In addition to the daily grind of CF maintenance and potential hospitalizations, maybe mention the difficulties of obntaining adequate health insurance (or exceeding the allowed amounts due to the costly care) and chances of getting life insurance. As far as the "feeling" of CF. Bring in a bunch of disposable straws and pass them out. Have them all try to breath thru it and explain that is an idea of what its like to live with CF. IF you want to go into the progressed version. Have them plug their noses (for those cfers with polyps etc) so they cant rely on breathing thru the nose when things get tough with breathing thru the mouth. If you need other visuals, in addition to the straw experiment, you could print things from the internet! Good Luck!
