Looks like my insurance company is forcing me to switch CF Doctors. I love love my doctor at the University of Michigan, but my HMO wont let me continue going there. They want me at the Detroit Hospital. I'm very concerned as the care I've been receiving has been spectacular. Anyone go to the Detroit clinic? Need some reassurance!!! Thanks in advance

I understand your concerns. Have you asked your social worker from UofM to get involved? Maybe there is something she can do.

Yeah U of M's social worker has tried. I've appealed the decision with the insurance company twice now. I've tried to find other insurance and there is none available. I just had the same thing happen to me. I was seeing Dr. Sisson at U of M and my insurance made me switch to Dr. Kissner at Harper. I had been going to U of M for the last 17 years. I got married last year and got my wifes insurance (priority health). Dont be scared it isnt bad at all. You can pm me if you want and i can get more in depth.
