any other salty carriers?

any known carriers out there who get a little extra salty sometimes, or even get a little salty frosting in your hair? this happens to my husband (carrier) often and i've started noticing it on my little one occasionally (who has also been determined to be a carrier). neither one of them have any other symptoms at all (and yes, we've had the full ambry done). i've had this happen to myself before, so i assume it is not all that unusual since we all have salty sweat, but it still weirds me out a little. it is so subtle, and you wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking for it and it only happens in their hairline above the forehead or a little in the sideburns. do we just have weird sweat or what?

I have it. I get really salty crust on my hairline in the summer when I'm sweaty. So does my dad.

I highly doubt I have CF (I didn't have the extended panel or anything), but I do carry the class 1 mutation my daughter has. I've wondered about this very thing. I'll be interested to see how others respond.

Yes, my husband's sweat is salty...says it's always been that way. Mine can get salty...and sting my eyes when I do sweat (does the same to hubby)

I sure do! Sometimes when I am outside and sweating badly I get a salt crystal film over my arms and legs.

I have not noticed it in my hair though ... around the hair line tends to have a lot more build up of salt when I am doing those activities .

I also do that. I have salt flakes on my skin at the hairline, mainly. I have other symptoms too but have not had genetic testing to see if I have cf or even if I am a carrrier.
