Any sideeffects of taking Mucinex ?

If you are taking the mucinex just to help you conceive then you really don't need to take it everyday. It won't hurt you but it costs you $ and really isn't necessary. You are only fertile a few days a month and THAT is when you need to thin your cervical fluid. Taking it other times of the month won't have any impact on your ability to conceive. Think of it this way - having sex a week before or after you ovulate won't get you pregnant. Same thing w/ the mucinex.

Also, if you are worried about the quality of your cervical fluid you can try pre-seed. It costs about $2.50 a pop but I think it is what got me pregnant last month and you only need to use it around ovulation.
