Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone had ever read or heard of any of the studies and info that this DR had put out in regards to CF - he is not a CF Doc or a pulmonologist by the way. . My step-dad had mentioned him to me and a book of his (Dead Doctors Don't Lie). I researched some of his stuff in the past (a few years ago) and came across some interesting things. I was just wondering if anyone here had ever looked into him/it.
I would give it a look see if you are interested. I recall him stating in his studies and info that he thought a root cause to the problems CF causes was a selenium deficiency. At the time I figured I would try taking a selenium supplement but had difficulty finding one. It took some searching for me to come across one, and I did take it for a time. I didn't notice much of a change, but I realized I would have to take so much to really get it to absorb. I remember doubling what the bottle recommended and noticing a slight change, but nothing too too remarkable. I am not real sure why I didn't continue trying it to see what happened, but I didn't. I am thinking of revisiting that supplement to see if it is beneficial is why I am posting.
I was mainly wondering if anyone took that as a supplement? If you do how much do you take daily? How long have you been taking it? Do you notice any change in how you feel? Any change in the symptoms you experience due to your CF?
Also have any of you heard of Dr. Wallach and/or done any research into his studies/findings? I am just curious if he is even well-known because I had not heard of him til my step-dad brought his name up and asked if I had ever looked into his stuff. If none of you have heard of him I figured I would put the name out there and let you guys do your own research about him if you chose to do so.
