Anyone been given Estradiol to get pregnant?

I have no idea why they need a PCT done again a couple of days earlier! The last one was on day 13 which is my most fertile time and the mucus was incrediblly thick and sticky. The consultant apparently told the nurse to repeat it 2 days earlier, but as that falls over the weekend, I am actually booked in to have it done on day 9!!! It's completely stupid, but I feel that if I don't jump through the hoops they want me to, then I can't progress to the next stage so am just going along with it.

Thanks for the information on www.webmd.com Pinky! I am very against having this treatment unless there is a very good reason to. It seems to me that since my chest is having a really good patch, it would be most sensible to move straight to IUI as soon as possible (though I fear the waiting lists will be long!) Will update more on Friday after the clinic visit for the PCT.
