Quote

Originally posted by: AnonymousBrad I find it appalling that you would agree with the SBAEU. It sickens me that people like you are allowed to reproduce.

Sorry if I didn't state my case in more plain English. My response was pure sarcasm. I just wanted to show how ridiculously stupid his/her ideas are. Anyone that believes that abortions should be performed to benefit the health insurance industry, like this SBAEU character said, obviously doesn't have a clue what's going on. Brad

What kind of person comes to a site like this, a place where people come for help and support, and then proceeds to suggest that any unborn child who is not perfect in their eyes should be aborted. I assure that every child is a precious gift and undoubtedly perfect in someones eyes.Find some place else to post your negative input .

Hi all! Just ignore that self righteous Hitler protege. Every one in a while, we get someone like that coming to the site saying CFers shoudln't reproduce or all babies with CF should be aborted. These small minded people have such sheltered lives that they do know actual people with CF. If they knew people with CF, they would know we aren't a drain on society, we can contribute to society just like "healthy" people. I am a 21 yr old with CF, and I am graduating college in 2 wks. Some drain on society I am. To the woman who began the thread, I think it is wonderful that you are already networking with other CF parents and patients. Hopefully, we will see a cure in your baby's lifetime, but we will at least see better medicines. Best of luck, and I admire your courage in choosing to have the baby, even though you knew it had CF - unfortunately, a lot of people wouldn't, wanting the perfect child. Mary
