Anyone get that metalic feeling?

I've gotten this metalic feeling that runs throughout my body, like my blood stream or something that always creeps me out.

The first time I ever felt something like this was during a serious kidney failure where my legs felt like 1,000 lb weights and I just felt metalic all over. That was then, long time ago. Now, in the past year or two, I've gotten another metalic feel that comes over me and it's slightly different. It's not the same b/c it's not kidney failure, but it sure seems like something weird.

I asked my pharmacist about it once, and he didn't know what to make of it and said none of my medications should cause something like that. He was clueless, which leaves me clueless.

This feeling happened again a week or two ago. Recently I connected it to taking a bunch of pills/vitamins/abx at the same time. For a while I thought this was happening b/c of taking ADEKS in combination with certain abx. This theory was ruined the last time it happened, since I hadn't taken those pills yet. I'm back to square one and don't know what causes this. I still think it's due to the different meds b/c when it happens it's within 5 minutes of taking a bunch of pills.

The feeling is like I said, metalic. That's the best word to describe it. It's like a heavy, really nasty feel that kind of takes over my blood stream or something, and wreeks havock on my gut. It's painful. I end up laying down and waiting for it to pass. Last time it went away within 30 minutes.

Fyi, it's not gallstones (had gallbladder removed)

Anyone know what I'm talking about? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

I am not sure what you mean about it being a metallic feeling, so I must not have ever experienced this before or I would prob understand what you mean. Does it make you flushed and hot? Please explain more about it if you can.
I was thinking that if it makes you flushed and hot it may be a side affect of the niacin in your adeks. Do you know what I am talking about?

Just out of curiosity, are you on antidepressants? I had a weird reaction once where anything metal I touched I gave off a pretty serious shock. It was the oddest thing and I remember feeling "metallic" all over. When I'd go to the grocery store and touch the cart "bzzt!" When I'd open the doors to the frozen veggies in the store "bzzzy!" Touching the car door "bzzzt!" And I'm not talking about a little spark like when it's dry out and you've been walking across carpet. This shock actually made my muscles cramp up like that voltage thing they sometimes have at amusement parks. (You know, where you see how long you can hold onto the metal bar?)
