We will probably be moving back to Dallas in December. We will be needing a good pulmo, a GI, dietician, and a pediatrician. Does anyone have any advice for doctors? Do you like Dallas Childrens? Any help would be appreciated.

I've heard they are good and I believe there are a few on here that go there. My girls only went there once way back in 91. It was just a pain to get there with the traffic from Keller. When we returned to Keller a year later we went to Cook and returned to Cook when we once again returned to the area when my husband retired from the AF.

I live in Fort Worth and went to the adult division at Dallas Children's Medical Center because Fort Worth did not specifically treat adults. Being from Fort Worth I am probably a little biased but I understand that Cook Children's Medical Center has an excellent program for CF in children.

Also, I can't say enough good things about the CF program in Dallas. I was treated there for several years before I was moved over to the transplant center at UT Southwestern in Dallas. They did an excellent job of taking care of me amd were always responsive of my needs when I had problems. I personally was taken care of by Dr. Rosenblatt but I think he just works primarily with the adults.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Hi there,

I live just outside of Dallas. I have heard great things about Children's but we have chosen to stay with our private Pulm. at Medical City for now because they have done such a wonderful job with our little one. I know that doesn't probably help you but I'd love to hear from you especially since you'll be in the area<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
