Anyone go to UAB in Alabama

Yes- we adored Dr Brasfield. I always felt like she treated Will like she would her own children. It was a sad day when we lost her. It was hard to go back to Childrens at his age and just never connected with the drs there, except for Dr. Clancy. I will say that Kathy Baines and some of the other staff there were wonderful. Will likes UAB- glad to be away from the kids at Childrens lol. Hope you find the right place for you. Susan

yes! I see the transplant team at UAB in Birmingham. I dont think they have kept me well informed. And they seem not to know answers to Questions I think they should have answers for. And also, I often get different answers for the same questions from different people on the team. And the nurse practitioner I see in clinic and call for prescriptions and to makes appointments( you probably know who I'm talking about) is rude and sometimes seems not to know what she is talking about. And most of the respiratory threrapist don"t do my threapy right.

I used to see Dr. Brasfield until my husband and I moved to Texas in 2001. We moved back to Alabama in August of 2002. They informed that I would have to go to the adult CF clinic that I would not be able to see Brasfield anymore.
