Add my thumbs up to UNMC CF Clinic!
They are a primary reason my girls went back to NE for school. Dr.'s Sammutt and Columbo are so wonderful! I myself don't have a whole lot of experience with Dr. Thomas but Anna has seen him since being at school. Dee is great as is Laura the social worker, Sandy and Pat are great as well. Stacy is the nurse and she's great too! The whole team is fantastic.
We were stationed in NE in 2002 and left in 2005. If this gives you any idea of how great they are. I (a down to the core Texan) have actually told my husband that we should have stayed or move back to NE just because of UNMC. We allowed Rachel to go to school out of state (she graduated in TX, Anna graduated in NE) because of the Docs.
When ever you call the clinic you will actually get to talk to a real person 9 out of 10 times. Carla, usually. The cafteria is pretty good. They don't charge for parking. The chld life specialists are wonderful. Anna who was in the hospital way more than Rachel ever was (knock on wood) still pops in on her and gets a visit when she's been admitted.
You're going to be pleased.
