anyone had to have an upper right lobe removed???

my daughter is 15 and her cf doctor has suggested this might be something we need to consider. she asperated milk into her lung when she was an infant and so that right upper lobe has gradully worsened. the remainder of her lungs basically show no signs of the disease according to her doc and radiologist. if anyone has had this done i desperatly need some feedback. we intend to get an appointment at the childrens hospital in st louis due to their experience in lung surgery. we live in arkansas.

My nephew had his removed when he was about 7 or 8, and he is 19 now. It did help him for some good amount of time<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
