Anyone have a gas oven?

Its very possible the pilot light got dirty & needs cleaning. I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself because you can cause things to come loose & have a greater problem. Contact a local propane company for a service.

What are you hanging around for? get a 'gas' man in asap. Gas can build up within the oven and then you use your stove top.....

Hello. I would suggest getting someone in to take a look at it for you. We have a gas oven, but it has an electric start on it, which has been giving us problems lately (I think we need to have ours looked at too). If the starter won't come on, then the gas won't come on. It's a pain in the butt. Sad thing is, it's only 3-4 years old. I don't know why they have to put all of this electronic stuff on everything anymore. I much rather prefer the "old" style where you could just stick a match under there to make the gas come on if the pilot light went out (lol).

I don't know what kind of stove you have, but just thought I would mention that (about the starter). Good luck!
