post in the Adult section you'll get more views. Have you checked out the cff.org pipeline. There's some great stuff to be very excited for. I don't know much about sharktank. It seems to pop up every couple years very briefly.

I wasn't sure what the best place to post was, which was why I posted here.

I know about the CFF pipeline and am excited about that, but I'm much more intrigued at the moment about the sharktank studies that I'm reading about. The lady I mentioned commented on her blog post yesterday and said the following:

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>
Yes, we have two things going on here at once. A young man, in his twenties, who has CF, is taking BITC transdermally on a daily basis. And, we are testing it in a carrier of CF--a parent of a child who has CF. The carrier results show no change. Probably because the dose is too low. But the young man who is using it on himself, in higher doses, has experienced what some might call "miraculous" effects over a period of about three months. Of course, we knew that would happen, because it happened before, but the effects went away after a month or so, when people were taking it orally. But, as we also predicted, the effects this time, when BITC is used transdermally. don't stop. They cointinue. This is only one case report, though, so we have to use caution when interpreting it. Theoretically, however, there is every reason to believe this will extrapolate to the CF population at large.
</end quote></div>

Miraculous effects.. If this is true, it seems very, very big indeed. More exciting than anything in the CFF pipeline, save some form of actual cure for CF. This is why I'm looking to hear more about sharktank.org. I don't want to get excited over nonsense.
