Dan has been having alot of pain in his joints. The reumatologist came into see him and they did xrays, and they said it might be HPOA or CFAA. Anyone else have this?

Yeah, it sort of comes and goes. Usually it seems to get worse when my lungs are doing bad. Do you have any questions? I don't think there's a whole lot known about either condition.

I've never been diagnosed with it but had joint problems from childhood. They have gotten better as I have gotten healthier. My observation has been that both are inflammatory diseases (both CF and arthritis) and controlling excess acidity can help control inflammation in both cases. I suspect that arthritis in some kind of joint infection and I suspect that this is why my joints bother me less than they used to: I have less infection than I used to have.
If you are interested in the approach I have taken, there is a little info on my website about what I have done to control acidity and inflammation and combat infection. It's not a quick fix. I've been working on this for a little over seven years. But I did see immediate improvement, which is why I have kept at it: It gave me relief without the horrible side effects that drugs can cause. Over time, my "base line" has steadily improved.
