Well I called his assistant and told her what the other nurse said about my CT scan, how I had bronchiectasis, and how this fought that and COPD and was showing strong results just against CF, and asked why I couldn't get on it. We shall see, but I doubt it.

Phase III of Denufosol just reached full enrollment. The trial is 6 months double blind placebo controlled, followed by 6 months open label (all get the drug). So a year from now and phase III should be complete. Concurrently they're doing a study of the drug on mice or rats (to see if the drug is a carcinogen). That study is supposed to take 2 year. Was started in late 06. So I think we're looking at late 09 at the earliest for this drug.
