we'd be moving from wilmington, de (we go to ai dupont hospital for children which is amazing) to birmingham. no decision has been made as of yet (my husband still has to "get the offer"), but thought i'd float the question out there.
thanks for all the help!
by the way, what's a tbs? my husband has bad allergies so he may want to know.
thanks!

HI! We live in Alabama too! My son is 3 years old and he goes to Children's at UAB for his clinic visits. We have been satisfied with his care for the most part. His doctor at clinic is great.

Tablespoon. Sorry! I know several people who have done this and it helps build up tolerance to the local polen, so your allergic response isn't so bad. It has to be local honey, though, so you could probably get it at a local farmer's market.

I live about 20 mins. north of B'ham, and have gone to the Adult clinic for several years (6? 8?). Overall, pretty good. Still changing and growing, and there have been I few growing pains, let's say, but overall, not bad, and the research dept. is well respected (nationally) from what I gather. I loved Children's Hospital, and the staff at the clinic there (I imagine that they aren't all still there, though <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ). If you have any questions, or would like more specific info, feel free to pm me- I'll help all I can.
