Anyone receive CF treatment at St. John's Mercy?

We are newly diagnosed through amnio and are considering receiving CF care through St. John's Mercy in Creve Coeur, MO. We have an appointment set up with the ped. pulmonologist in a few weeks. I know St. John's has excellent pediatric docs in all of the areas that we could need and I have a certain level of comfort at St. John's because I work there (not in the medical field).

We are also set to meet with Dr. Ferkol at the CF Clinic at Children's Hospital.

Can anyone tell me what the advantage is of receiving care at a CF Clinic vs. a reputable hospital that treats CF kids with different specialists?

Thanks for your help as we learn more each day.
