I just ordered a bottle of the new GSH-curc caps from TheraNaturals and wondered if anyone has tried them yet. They are different than the regular GSH caps b/c they also have 200 mg. of Curcumin, 50 mg. of N-Acetyl Cysteine, 300 mg. of vitamin C, and 3 mcg. of Selenomethionine.

Rather than GSH I have been taking just NAC. The body is able to absorb NAC more readily than GSH, NAC is converted to GHS, and is more efficient than taking GSH. I have been contemplating nebulizing GSH though.

Amy(sakasuka) has a blog dedicated to NAC and the trials that they are performing on it if you want to check it out.

the NAC isn't in high enough levels in GSH Curc caps, i believe it's 50 mg, I've been taking 1000 mg twice a day.

Here's an article on the study i was talking about.

beware of supplements bought in the US. they're not regulated. so although something says it has 50mg of NAC, it might have 2mg. No way of knowing since the US government doesn't regulate it. I might not have any curcumin at all. no way of knowing.

i get my NAC from europe where it's a prescription drug. government regulates it therefore i know exactly what I'm getting and in the exact quantity.

The Cur-caps from Theranaturals are pretty good I think. All of the people I have read about taking GSH get their's from Theranaturals. My son has been on them since the end of Nov., and has put on six kilos in weight. He also has more energy and rosy cheeks...it's such a pleasure to look at him and see a 'well' person! I really feel that the GSH has contributed significantly to his improvement in health.
He also started on Azithromycin at the same time, so this has also helped him heaps.

With regard to the curcumin etc., I just see it as a bonus supplement...I dont know if it helps much. The NAC is too small of a quantity to be of a great benefit, but it helps...I also have Sam on about 600mgs of NAC in addition to the 200-250mgs he gets fron the Cur-caps (he's 10). A lot of people use both.
