Also, I tried the fish (bubbles) mask on him and he hates it!..It seems to be a little big for him. We are using the mask that doesnt strap around his face that came with our disposable neb cups right now and I boil them, too. Has anyone else had problems getting their kids to wear the masks?

The Avent electric steam sterilizer works great without melting or warping anything (I can't speak for Bubbles though- we don't use that one. A lot of people use the electric Avent here though- maybe someone else here would know about that particular mask.)

I think the microwave can be a problem sometimes due to the issue with 'hot spots' you get sometimes (you see this mentioned sometimes in cooking directions) and who knows how hot it gets in there; it may get a lot hotter than boiling temperature depending on your wattage, etc. I think the electric steam sterilizer keeps things at a more controlled temperature.
It was kind of pricey but it was well worth it to me.
