Are extremely sweaty palms and soles of feet seen in CF.

Recently I got a copy of my daughters genetic work up and the report says that the mutations are consistant with CF or a CF like illness.
Today here is my question does anyone experience extremely sweaty palms and sole of feet as well as lethargy for no reason at all .?
any input would be greatly appreciated ....

I have CF - age 47 - D508 & R117, considered mild mutations. I have very sweaty hands, so sweaty that when I want to shake someone's hand I must first wipe them discretely on my suit. I'm in sales and I'm constantly shaking hands. On another note my hands and feet wrinkle very quickly in water. When doing dishes within 3 minutes my hands will be very wrinkly. There was another post about a month ago on this topic. Mine seems to be getting worse. I'm wondering if it's because my skin is thinning. It does that as you get older. I'm seeing my CF doctor for an appointment on Tuesday so I will ask the question. When I was younger my feet were very sweaty and I wore breathable socks and lots of foot powder. :)

I forgot about your question on being lethargic? I've been feeling very lethargic these last few months. It could be the lack of exercise on my part. It goes hand in hand. If you exercise you feel better but have to get started (for me). I need a lot of sleep and always have. I need at least 8 - 10 hours a night. Weekends I like 12. I am going to ask my CF specialist about my energy levels too. Will keep you posted next week. Do you know your daughters gene combination?

Abby has always had sweaty palms and feet. And yes she wrinkles pretty fast when in water. :) Abby is always going 90 to nothing though...ALWAYS so don't know about the lethargic part :/

My son's hands are always kind of sweaty. He has sweaty feet in the summer but they can get pretty cold in the winter! He's normally lethargic only when he's sick.

my son's hands and feet wrinkle to the point of almost breaking when he's been in water. It embarrasses him a bit (he's 12 and EVERYTHING embarrasses him now) but I just said no one's looking at your hands unless you're waving them in their faces and he seems to get over it. His hands, feet, knees and elbows are also unbelievably rough and dry. After going on eucerin (super lotion) at the end of the summer it seemed to help with the wrinkling. Not sure about the sweating, he's still got that. :)

Wet hands and feet and Syncope

My daughter has F508 del, G576A & R668C mutations she has always has had severe wet hands and feet and her skin wrinkles quickly too! She also has the lethargic episodes and has been to the heart specialist and after testing found that she has Syncope. There are several causes to the syncope and one is dehydration she has no heart defect but the episodes shows on her testing the only logic thing is dehydration. We have her to take and drink Gatorade daily at school to prevent episodes and has improved but mind you the word syncope means fainting but she has never actually fainted but her heart rate changes very rapidly it increases and she has an intellectual disability and not able to explaine how she is feeling. We went to a local children's museum and it had a display with a drum that beat to your heart rate when you held a special handle. Whenever she would touch it the drum beat would be erratic and I would have another sibling test it and it would be normal each time tested again and again it would be erratic. It scared me. That is how we realize the lethargic episodes were related to the syncope because we kept having her sugar tested thinking that it was CFRD and they kept saying that she was fine. Anyone else with Syncope? Or issues similar?

I am the same as you, in summer it's awfull with the warm weather. My palms are destroyed after a shower, wrinkled, "bubbly" and achy... And when an exberation comes on, my palms get sweathy.
