LOL! That's sooo true!!! Sometimes we just crave that crunchiness and fresh taste without anything masking or jazzing it up... I feel the same way!

Haha! I love it! This person should do one from the point of view of the dentist. I don't know how many dentist have said "You eat how much a day ?!?!?!"

Absolutely brilliant article. Couldn't help but laugh at so much of
it, and nod in agreement at other parts.

I used to have that problem too. Started out with the first 10 or
so years on no fat what so ever, then all of a sudden as much fat
and sugar as possible. I still HATE fatty food, I'm not overly
happy about potato chips, chocolate or other fatty snacks. I do
love pretzels and the like, "baked and 97% fat free".

When I finally got used to the idea of eating until I felt sick I
had to slow down my damn eating. Now I crave food all the time, but
if I eat much at all I balloon up. Even my doctor told me I was fat
enough.

For some reason my brother is the exact opposite. He's more like
the guy in the article. He eats and eats and hardly puts on weight
at all. And as far as I know we're both the same mutation and
all. He even had one of those feeding tubes straight to his
stomach as a kid, horrible stuff. These days we just tell people
the awful scars on his stomach are bullet wounds
, more exciting that way.

Loved the article. My weight is fairly stable, but my dr. wants me to add about 5 to 10 lbs. I am finding that it is really difficult to get beyond my standard weight.

I have 8 sisters-in-law who worry about their weight. I sent it out to everyone since, at times, I have to remind them that my weight carries an incurable disease. Sometimes people are just very ignorant!

As I am writing this, I am at work during my lunch. Lunch consists of food from our work's cafe - pork tenderloin with apriocots, perogies, two ensure shakes. It is an odd concept to force yourself to eat... and then eat MORE.

Thanks for posting the article.

Hey bro!
Yeah, got this nasty disfiguring scar during a daring daylight bank
robbery when i was a kid! People usually believe it too, kind of
hard to ignore a bullet sized pit in the side of the stomach with
an accompanying slash across the the belly "where they pulled
the bullet out"

Often when i'm at the store I think, today I'll be good, and buy
loads of sweets, some chocolate and nuts! oh, and dip too! A week
later theres a half eaten bowl of sweets on the table, and a very
ripe box of dip in the fridge. The nuts are gone though, i love
pistacchios.

Excellent article, I sent it to my family who just can't understand
why the doctor's are making me feed my daughter ridiculously
unhealthy sounding foods!!! I've already gotten several
replies that they finally "get it"! WOO HOO!!
Thank you for posting, this was a well done and humorous
approach.
