At a lost with daughters symptoms

Hi Tammy,

I would bring her in to make sure it's not a blockage or if she's full of stool. Is she pooping, passing gas? I have found my daughter can get constipated with a change in routine, change in the types of food she eating, etc. She may be so tired, one she's could be dehydrated, and or have a blockage which would make you feel blechy. I hope you find out what's going on and I hope she feels better soon.

I would think of some kind of colon virus or bacteria. If so they will probably find nothing in the hospital, but she might need infusions for stopping dehydration and also some vitamins, glucose, etc.

Maybe she got food poisoning/stomach virus and then because she hasn't been eating, she's constipated or has got a partial blockage. I know years ago DS got a nasty stomach bug and when he was finally done with it coming out of both ends, he stopped pooping and we had to give him some milk of mag. Hopefully the doctors with have a solution to her tummy problems this morning.

Thanks for thinking of me Heather Yesterday Hannah had a great day! She was back to normal. I was able to give her a prescription for helping move her 'poop' along, and it seemed to help. She didn't feel 100% on Tuesday, but yesterday she seemed like her 'old' self-which just melts my heart

Again, thanks for all the suggestions. You just never know if you might be 'missing' something...

did she eat any raw fruits or veggies in Mexico? salad? you didn't all drink tap water did you?
sounds like "Montazuma's Revenge" to me. She'll need some tablets to kill the parasite.
