at what point do you call or go in?

Kory has his first cold 2 weeks ago we were at a graduation party and another baby there had a terrible croupy cough. A few days after we got home, the girls started coming down with colds. They are mostly over it now. Kory fought it off until a couple days ago, but today his cough sounds like that other little baby. He doesn't have any fever, nose is running clear. With any other child, I'd not worry at this point. It's just a cold. but of course with cf I second guess everything.

Go and see a doc. Like you wrote - the cough sounds bad. You need someone to auscultate Kory at least.In cf - no second guessesin seening a doc

I agree with bringing the baby in to see the CF doctor. Are you doing extra Chest PT and breathing treatments?

yes, doing extra chest pt for sure. When I put my ear to his chest or back he sounds good. He's not at all struggling to breathe. He's in very good spirits. I noticed too that he's coughed much less as he's been up and around for the day, so I think I'll try sleeping in the chair with him tonight to keep him upright and see if that helps. I will definitely call his dr. in the morning too. I'm glad I asked here. I probably would have waited too long
