I was just thinking, I have not noticed it before this round of AZLI but I started to feel a tingly tongue and sort of sore throat. If I remember right that is a symptom of thrush. I do not have white spots (but I do have a white 'runway' down the middle of my tongue), but my tongue was extremely sensitive to honey mustard dressing and white wine (acidy foods) today at dinner.
Have any of you on AZLI noticed that? Could that be a side effect from Azithromycin? Or maybe a combination of both? I am thinking that because this is my first month on both drugs it is a combination, but then again...the dose of Azithromycin is so small and scattered (over three days in the week) that I wasn't sure that could still be a side effect. I started taking acidophilus pills after I noticed the sensation...but I am curious to hear others, now that AZLI is on the market.
