went to the doc. don't really have answers except he said her lungs sounded very clear. thats a good sign. she has alot of nasal/ear/sinus congestion. her nose runs constantly. he thinks the gasping sound is more like 'choking' sounds-she trying to get up mucus from her dripping nasal passages or mucus is just in the way.
he said she may have very mild croup. i dont know quite why he picked that one. he didn't seem sure-he said it may just be some mild viral cough. if it doesn't improve we'll go back. he said to call if it persists.
i suspected allergies. her eyes are red and itch her alot, she sneezes all the time, and the wheezy gasp happens when she's on the floor-esp near the dog. who knows? m,aybe i'm wrong.
she is coughing more now.
tonight will be fun.....i don't know how i'll sleep with worry over her. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
any tips for keeping this from turning into something serious would be appreciated. i know how to keep lungs clear for an adult-sure. but for a 5 month old is another story.
