We wanted a unique name for DS 'cuz his last name is common in some areas, plus on my FIL's side of the family, some of the people have horrible credit ratings. I once had a HECK of a time getting phone service hooked up 'cuz someone with the same name as DH skipped out on a huge phone bill.

We refused to tell anyone what we were going to call DS because of the Ewww factor. So we told everyone his name was going to be felix and referred to him as felix the fetus. The other thing that drove me nuts is when other people would "steal" the names we had picked out. DH's best friends wife and a couple cousins nabbed a few of my favories, so we kept it hush hush until DS was born.

We actually had difficulty choosing a middle name and we jokingly tried out a close cousin's first name and ended up keeping it.

We named our now 3 year old son, Sawyer. I think it is so cute and different. I didn't know anyone named that until after he was born of course. Now I personally know 2 other babies named Sawyer and have heard it used while out in public. I also like the name Owen (which was our second choice), Thomas, and Will. Anyway good luck to you!!

I am also 15 weeks pregnant. We have an Aidan which became incredibly popular lately. We like the name Gavin for a boy. I like Addison for a girl.

Lewis is a real popular name in Scotland just now. Over in the US I would imagine it would be quite unusual

I've always liked Kadence, Jacob, Gavin, Avery (girl or boy), Lucas, Bryce, Hunter, and Hayden...

Boys names are HARD! lol! We went a long time not knowing what to name Ethan. Kenzie was going to be named Ethan if she had been a boy. I guess it just kind of stuck in our heads <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">)
