Hi all,
My doctor told me that their is a new prototype of the vest for babies that looks like a scarf that wraps around their chest and doesn't cause shaken baby syndrome. Anyone else heard of it or who makes it?
Thanks,
Rebecca

I've never heard of it. I did just meet another parent who got the vest for their 18 month old. Our doctor says Weston has to be 2. That isn't much longer to wait. I will continue doing manual until then. Let us know if you find out any more info though.

The State School for the disabled used the belt on their cerebral palsy patients and a few others. And from what I understand, they use the same belt on everyone (cringe).

Whoops, that didn't sound right... My MIL teaches nursing students and was supervising students there and told me they have the vest system for their patients, but don't use a vest -- they have a belt instead.
