back ache

the past few days i've noticed that my back has been kinda achey. i'm thinking maybe it's cause i'm rolling over on my back at night and sleeping on it some. could that be it? i'm also so parnoid of having preterm labor, especially since the hubby is at work mon-fri and my mommy is 500 miles away. not to mention the dreams i was having this morning, well not dreams nightmares of my water breaking and being all alone. so needless to say i was not in the greatest mood getting up this morning. and the tossing and turning at night doesn't help that either and having to get up to do iv's at 7 and 8 makes me cranky too. i do have an ob appt tomorrow and i'm going to ask about the achey back. but i figured in the mean time i could come on here and get some input. i'm not freaking out too bad about it probably because my appt is at 8:30 in the morning tomorrow (which over laps with one of my iv's...the people in the waiting rooms have to think i'm some sort of junkie) and i haven't noticed anything else out of the norm. so i was just wondering if anyone else had an achey back around this time. sorry to make that so long, for some reason i always go on and on.

Candice - back ache is pretty common w/ pregnancy. Are they crampy type feelings in your back that come and go or a general achiness? My personal advice is to go get a massage and see a chiropractor (someone who is experienced w/ pregnant women). That should help If the back ache was related to contractions you should also feel your uterus tightening up at the same time (like a BH contrax).
